Back to School Night 24-25 is September 5 from 5:40pm to 8pm here at Patuxent Valley Middle School.  See below for an updated schedule and information.

Make sure you arrive early as parking is limited on campus, and please look up a copy of your child's schedule in synergy, but we'll have a paper copy available if needed.

When you arrive come in through your student's grade level door and we'll help you get to class and let you connect with school, PTSA, and some community resources.

• The following staff are unable to attend tomorrow night and wanted to share their regrets.  You can find course materials by their classrooms during the evening: Ms. Glover, Mr. Goodwin, Mr. Lazo, Ms. Oskvarek, Ms. Petry, Ms. Robbins, Ms. Shih, Ms. Sicca, and Mr. Thompson.

• Families who have Mr.Thompson, Ms. Shih, Mr. Lazo, or Ms. Oskvarek period 1 should come to the Cafeteria to hear Mr. Smart's presentation.

• In the library:

  • Liaisons, Administration and Student Services will be present to answer questions.

  • Staff will be available to assist parents with Family File completion.

  • Howard County Library System, Savage Branch

  • PVMS PTSA.

• The evening will end with a presentation from our Gifted and Talented Specialist and our College and Career Readiness Advisor from 7:30 to 7:55 pm in the Cafeteria.  This session is open to anyone interested.
